Bio
An.gelo is a Toronto-based multi- instrumentalist and songwriter. Starting his musical journey playing drums at the age of five, he is an experienced performer, and has since learned and gained proficiency on electric bass and guitar. He has played in a church/gospel setting for 15 years.
This experience has exposed him to a number of styles and genres such as rock, jazz, gospel, and blues. This is reflected in both his songwriting and musical proficiency. Inspired by acts like Wave To Earth, Dijon, and Origami Angel, his sound blends moody introspection with laid-back charm.
He is currently working on his debut EP, From Sea To Sky, drawing inspiration from growing up in British Columbia. Using his blend of spacey guitar based rock as a foundation, this project is his attempt to convey foggy coastlines and the sharp mountain air through the sonic medium.
